Our final concert of the 2023-24 season will have a distinctly feminine feel to it. The orchestra will be conducted for the first time by a woman, Emma Kent, it is the first time that we will have played a symphony by a woman, Florence Price, and we will be joined in Bruch's ever-popular Violin Concerto by the up-and-coming Australian soloist, Emily Sun. Everyone will be welcome - even men - to what promises to be a stunning summer's evening of music making.
